Meaning
To tell someone to get lost / Go fly a kite
Example
Já estou cansada de você me perturbar, vá pentear macaco!
I'm tired of you bothering me, go fly a kite!
Origin
The origin is uncertain but the most-cited theory: monkeys in the Lisbon Zoo in the 19th century had to be 'combed' for fleas by hired hands. Telling someone to go do that job = to get them out of your sight in the most menial way possible.
