This page explains how cancellations, withdrawals, recurring subscription cancellations, and refunds work for Falando purchases, with a focus on Brazilian consumer law and practical good practices.

- CNPJ: 61.434.746/0001-06
- Registered address: Rua Joaquina de Jesus 127 Lote 16, Vila Isolina Mazzei, São Paulo SP, 02079-070

2) Brazilian right of regret for remote purchases
If you are a consumer in Brazil and purchased Falando remotely (for example, through a website or app, outside a physical establishment), you generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days under article 49 of the Consumer Defense Code.
- The period is generally counted from the contracting date or receipt/availability of the product or service, as applicable.
- If your request is made within that legally applicable period, we will assess it in light of the mandatory law and the payment channel used for the purchase.
- This legal withdrawal right is different from simply canceling future renewals of a recurring subscription.
3) How to request cancellation or refund
To request cancellation of future renewals, exercise the legal right of regret, or ask for a refund, contact
- your account email address
- date of purchase
- transaction or order identifier, if available
- whether you want to stop future renewals, request a refund, or both
- a short description of the issue, if there was a technical or billing problem
We may ask for additional information needed to verify the purchase and route the request correctly.
4) How refund processing works
- If a refund is approved or legally required, we will initiate it without undue delay.
- Refunds are usually made through the same payment channel used in the original purchase, unless another method is required or agreed.
- The time for the refund to appear depends on the bank, card issuer, app store, or payment provider.
- If the payment provider or store controls the charge directly, its processing timeline may apply in addition to our internal handling time.
5) Recurring renewals, payment providers, and app store rules
Canceling a recurring subscription stops future charges but does not automatically create a refund for past charges, except where applicable law or the provider’s own rules require one.
6) Discretionary refunds outside mandatory legal rights
In some cases, we may grant refunds even when they are not legally mandatory. Examples may include:
- duplicate charges
- billing mistakes
- material technical issues that prevented normal use of the paid feature
- other exceptional situations reviewed case by case
This discretionary review does not limit, replace, or reduce your mandatory consumer rights.
7) Brazilian consumer rights and how to reach us
This page is intended to be consistent with Brazilian consumer law, including the Consumer Defense Code. If you believe your rights were not respected, you may also seek assistance from consumer-protection bodies such as PROCON, the competent courts, or other lawful dispute channels.
