Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how Falando users can delete their account and personal data, which data is deleted, and which records may be retained for legal, security, or billing reasons.

Google Play review note

Falando users can request account deletion directly inside the app. Open Settings, go to the account/privacy area, and choose Delete Account.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to your Falando account.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion request in the app.

If you cannot access the app, contact support@falando.app from the email address associated with your account.

What data is deleted

  • Account profile data such as email, username, avatar, and settings tied to your account.
  • Learning progress data, study history, achievements, and related in-app activity linked to your account.
  • User-generated learning data stored for your account, subject to the retention notes below.

What may be retained

  • Billing, payment, or transaction records that must be retained for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, or legal compliance.
  • Security logs and limited technical records retained when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, or comply with law.
  • Backup copies that may persist for a limited period before automatic deletion.

Retention timing

Account deletion requests are processed as soon as reasonably possible. Some retained records may remain for the period required by applicable law, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, or backup lifecycle policies.
