Meaning
In the middle of nowhere
Example
Katmandu?! É onde Judas perdeu as botas!
Kathmandu?! That's in the middle of nowhere!
Origin
There is no documented historical Judas event behind the phrase. Its most-cited interpretation is humorous: after betraying Jesus, Judas Iscariot hanged himself — so 'where Judas lost his boots' is a joke about a place so remote that even the corpse of Judas couldn't keep its shoes there.
