Sens

Être plein aux as, être bourré de fric

Exemple

Depois daquela herança ele tá forrado.

Après cet héritage, il est plein aux as.

Origine

Forrar means to line — to put a layer inside something (as in lining a coat). Applied to a person, forrado evokes someone wrapped or padded with money. The verb itself entered Iberian Portuguese and Spanish from Frankish *fodr (related to German Futter, 'lining'); the financial idiom is used in both languages.
