Rebole no mato

Portuguese

Meaning

Sort it out yourself / figure it out on your own

Example

Perdeu a chave? Rebole no mato, não vou te ajudar.

Lost the key? Sort it out yourself, I'm not helping you.

Origin

A Northeastern phrase, originally literal: rebolar no mato meant to throw something useless out into the bush — the rural-house equivalent of taking out the trash.
