Formation Patterns

IR + INFINITIVE (Preferred Form)

Present tense of IR:

eu vou
tu vais
ele/ela/você vai
nós vamos
eles/elas/vocês vão

Plus any infinitive:

vou falar (I'm going to speak)
vai chover (It's going to rain)
vamos viajar (We're going to travel)

SIMPLE FUTURE (Formal Form)

Regular verbs add to infinitive:
